The Rathore dynasty of Barli proudly traces its lineage back to Rao Maldeo of Marwar (Jodhpur). In 1675, the esteemed Darbar Devi Das ji founded Barli, and the rulers of Barli were renowned warriors. Darbar Lal Singh ji gained fame for his bravery and gallantry in battles against the Marathas during the 18th century.
Today, the doors of the fort have been opened to discerning visitors, as it has been transformed into a Heritage Hotel. With a deep sense of reverence, the fort has been meticulously restored and furnished while preserving its original character.
