Mehrangarh Fort: Perched 150 m high, it's Rajasthan's most formidable fortress, founded by Rao Jodha in 1459. A meandering road leads from the city. Battle scars from Jaipur's cannonballs still mar the second gate. Seven gates include Jayapol, symbolizing Maharaja Man Singh's victories over Jaipur and Bikaner.
Victory Gate (Fatehpol): Built by Maharaja Ajit Singh to mark Mughal defeat, adorned with palm imprints in vermilion paste and silver foil.
